Joomla 1.7.1 vrijgegeven
Het Joomla project heeft zojuist Joomla 1.7.1 vrijgegeven. Dit is een veiligheidsrelease en we adviseren je om je Joomla website bij te werken naar deze versie. Het Joomla project heeft niet stilgestaan na de release van Joomla 1.7.0 op 11 januari 2011. Naast 3 veiligheidsproblemen zijn er 96 andere kleinere en grotere bugs verholpen. De volledige lijst is hieronder te vinden.
Het doel van het Production Leadership Team (PLT) is om regelmatig updates ter beschikking te stellen aan de Joomla community. Leer meer over de Joomla ontwikkelingen op de Ontwikkelaars site.
Download de Nederlandstalige Joomla 1.7.1 met voorbeelddata in onze downloadsectie. Je vindt hier ook aparte taalpakketten voor zowel de frontend als de backend en de tinyMCE tekstverwerker, en het pakket voor het updaten van de oude Joomla 1.7.0 versie naar 1.7.1.
Het is ook mogelijk om vanuit de backend van je Joomla site up te daten naar Joomla 1.7.1. Ga daarvoor naar Extensies -> Extensiebeheer en klik op de tab Updaten. In dit scherm klik je in de toolbar op Vind updates. De Joomla 1.7.1 update wordt nu zichtbaar. Deze vink je aan en in de toolbar klik je op Updaten, waarna de Joomla sites automatisch zal worden bijgewerkt. Vergeet niet dat de taalbestanden ook geüpdate moeten worden. Backup altijd je websites voordat je een update gaat uitvoeren.
